Our Story
How we met
We first crossed paths at The Pint, dancing on the second floor while the DJ played Drake’s “Hotline Bling.” Dmitry’s goofy moves caught Nicole’s eye, and before long, we were laughing and dancing together. When he introduced himself, he made a point of saying his name was hard to pronounce and that it was foreign. Nicole decided to be funny and replied that her name was foreign too. Dmitry didn’t quite get the joke—but he did get Nicole’s phone number, and that’s what mattered most.
The proposal
On a beautiful day at our farm, surrounded by nature and calm, I turned to Nicole and told her how she’d been my soulmate and other half. In that perfect moment, with the peaceful breeze around us, I asked her to marry me.
Now
We will be celebrating our 10-year anniversary in March 2026 and we’re on the cusp of an even bigger milestone—getting married! We are graduating from university in May 2026, and we’re ready to embrace the next chapter of our lives together—building our future, hand in hand.
